Of all the nerve-wracking tasks of your day, we cross one of them out: Parking!

We found the solution to the unpleasant, time-consuming and often stressful parking experience especially in big cities. Baton Park is an anonymous, real-time app that allows you to find a parking spot within seconds! That being said, this solution is undoubtedly both energy-saving and time-saving. So whether you’re going to work, hitting the gym, trying to reach class on time or simply grabbing a coffee with an old friend, we’ve got your parking spot covered!

What Are We Trying To Solve

Our solution is three-fold: Time, Energy and Carbon Emission

Time

Drivers spend a staggering number of hours a year searching for spots on streets, in lots, or in garages. As Benjamin Franklin once said: “Time is money” and we can’t afford to waste it on finding a parking spot especially in this fast-paced time of age. We aim at minimizing that wasted time as much as possible to give our users the time to do that extra set of push-ups, or spend a little more time with a loved one every day.

Energy

Drivers spend unnecessary money on wasted fuel and emissions. With inflation hitting the world everywhere, fuel is becoming more expensive by the day and we can assume that these numbers will go up in the next few years. With BatonPark you can save those extra bucks and limit your energy consumption significantly.

Carbon Emission

A typical passenger vehicle emits tons of carbon dioxide per year. If we managed to reduce even 1% of this emission, we would be one step in the right direction to make our planet greener. It is imperative that we start thinking of ways to spare the environment some of the incredible amount of carbon emissions dumped into it every day.

The Mission

BatonPark was born from a simple motivation: To make life easier and Earth greener.

We thought of the most disregarded source of stress in our life and put together a plan to help fix the problem. Parking has become a difficulty in our day of age with the increased number of vehicles circulating our streets in cities around the globe. We hope, through this project, to reach our goal and make the world a slightly more tolerable place.

How Does It Work?

Once you’ve downloaded the free App, log in anonymously and find a parking spot real-time; no delays, no bugs.
The solution centers around swapping, a car leaves and another one parks. Locate your destination or your location on the map and set the time of your arrival or departure. The app will notify you of an available or soon-to-be available spot within your vicinity with just a tap on your smartphone. Subsequently, you will be led to your spot or you will cede it to another BatonParker. Every time you cede a parking spot for another Batonparker, you get a point that you will use later. You can even get things moving faster by choosing the mode “urgent” and we will find a way to respond to your urgency.
Think of it as a baton game, a player passes the “baton” to you and you do the same until all players reach their final destination: home sweet home after a long hectic day!
